Las Tres Sorores
03:35
|
|||
No ven los peligros, ni la nube gris;
pero no se pueden
quedar para siempre aquí.
Ojos de amatista adornan tu corona.
Una voz de pájaro nunca decepciona.
Gracias a cemento no siento las olas.
Ojos de amatista adornan tu corona.
No me siento sola.

('Las Tres Sorores' or 'Monteperdido' is a mountain in the valley of Ordesa, in Aragon, Spain)
They walk through valleys,
they'll find failure.
Nothing can light the path tonight.
They climb the mountains seeking the sun,
they think tomorrow will be better.
They can't see the risks nor the grey clouds,
but they can't stay there forever.
Amethyst eyes set in your crown.
The voice of a bird never let us down
Now there is a concrete wall
I am safe from the waves
I don't feel lonely anymore.

La pisada de las bestias,
trece marcas en el cuerno,
cuando ves flotar su aliento
un segundo se hace eterno.
Vibra membrana entre los mundos
y la tierra tiembla.
El crujido de las hojas,
el chasquido de la antorcha,
formaremos nuestros círculos.
Pájaro de nube y polvo,
procesión de las estrellas,
formaremos nuestros círculos.
Que anuncian flechas hacia el cielo,
vuelan sobre mi cabeza.
Con sus cuerpos ensartados
y reiremos con su llanto.
Pájaro de nube y polvo,
procesión de las estrellas,
salen voces de las rocas,
salen voces de la tierra.

Procession of the stars
Footprints of the beasts,
thirteen marks on the horn.
Its breath starts floating like vapor
and a second feels too long.
The membrane between worlds vibrates
and the Earth is shaking.
Dead leaves crunching,
torches crackling.
Bird of cloud and dust,
procession of the stars.
We'll gather in circles
to announce the arrows
flying to the sky
over my head
and through their bodies.
And we'll laugh as they cry.

Días Cálidos
02:08
|
|||

Warm days
Too many things happend on those warm days,
golden darts straight to the chest.
Burning souls run away from lava tongues,
they figure out how to go on.
I only know I never want to go
back to the desert,
although I know that's the place where i'm okay.
We'll be swallowed by the sands one day.
I smell the dew in the morning
as I walk into infinity.
There's ashes at the sunset
under the crying star that floats in the summer haze.

Cierzo
03:16
|
|||
aunque llevamos tanto andado.
En nuestra oscuridad;
iremos tejiendo las noches y mañanas
que alimentarán viejas tormentas.
Las puertas que se nos cerraron;

('Cierzo' is the name for the freezing wind that blows in the region of Aragon in Spain)
Open your eyes today and shake.
The daylight seems to get shorter and shorter.
Although we've been walking for so long
and let the freezing wind turn our skins on,
in darkness, we understand we won't be
in this world for much longer
and won't drown the moon together.
We'll be weaving the nights and mornings,
they'll become old storms one day.
Doors that will never be open again for us,
memories still ache
as we see from the window
so many paths unwalked.
In our darkness, any city becomes small,
lights on the road seen from afar.
No need to talk.

Refugios
03:18
|
|||
nada.

Tomorrow will be better
Put the salt into the wounds while they're open.
Poor old, worn skin, hold my hand tight.
Put your hand closer to me.
I see terrifying things when I close my eyes.
Wrecked shelters.
But leaves and branches will spring soon
and we shall rebuild our home.
Feathers and wings will grow back soon
and there will be no reason to cry anymore.

El Tragaluz
02:05
|
|||
vuela, urraca
no sabes caer,
vuela.
cuántos meses
pasas sin beber;
cuántos meses.
por el hueco
dos rayos de sol
entran.
uno es suave,
otro nos quema
a lxs dos.

Skylight
Fly, magpie.
You can never fall.
How many months
can you spend all alone?
Two rays of sun
come in through the hole:
One of them is gentle.
The other burns the two of us.
The two of us.

Golpe al Osario
03:24
|
|||
antes de perder los cielos nublados;
y nuestros huesos menguan con la erosión;
que se clavaba como la daga al pecho;

A smashed ossuary
A light that shall never burn me,
fog above our open mouths,
my skull in the blood-red foam.
A light that shall never burn me
And our craniums will sink into the grass.
And we won't remember the pain
that used to sting as a knife in the chest.
The salt in the water is all that's left of me.
There won't be a last time to collect roses
before losing the cloudy skies.
We're just a bit more rotten everday.
A light that shall never blind me.
And now that we are dust back to the wind,
and the elements wear our bones away,
the world won't remember the steps we gave.
Some salty water is all that's left of you.
And our heads shall sink into the ground
in warm, colourful days
that will sting as a knife in the chest.
